I always find it strange how, whenever I get into writing a new story, time completely disappears. I look at the clock, turn to the screen, start to write; stop. Look at the clock, again, and see that 4 1/2 hours have past. I continue to stare at the clock and wonder, What the hell just happened there?

Writer-in-residence

I just wanted to take a moment to say how happy I am to be back for another year as writer-in-residence at James Cardinal McGuigan, with all new students except for two. Those two will probably be bored out of their minds; and once out of their minds they’ll really know what it’s like to be a writer. :-)
