“When the wisest scholars hear about the Tao, they put it into practice. When mediocre scholars hear about the Tao, they seem now to keep it and now to lose it. When worthless scholars hear about the Tao, they laugh at it uproariously. If it were not laughed at it would not be the Tao.” – Lao Tzu Tao Te Ching

God, help me find wisdom and strength.

  1. I have been reticent...it is winter. It looks like I have some reading to do here - the word Tao caught my attention - I love the Tao of Pooh. When I first read it I was Bausy Backson; I am learning not to be.

  2. Good to hear from you. I read the Tao of Pooh a while ago and loved it. I'm reading the 'Tao Te Ching' now and finding it fascinating; especially some of the parallels to Christ, including three being one. Learning not to be can be tricky. ;)
